Florida, and it is life-changing. What a blessing to see community in action. That's always been my joy in the midst of a storm like that.

Blessings on you, girl -- and so glad all is well. Your kids will have quite a story. I struggle to do that, and I was so happy (not that you were stranded) but that you asked for a whole bunch of online friends for help.

Gives me courage to do the same.Amy Sullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03571083038560430815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-94860206324438203.post-39196128854138960842011-08-30T17:30:50.099-05:002011-08-30T17:30:50.099-05:00Wow! I'm thankful your family came through safely.

Thank you for your comment on my blog and for your offer to pray. There's more detail under the "About Me" and "Welcome to the Table" pages on the blog. The short version is that I have systemic lupus, chronic sinus infections, a leaky heart valve, and a new low back and hip problem for which I am in physical therapy. My poor husband! My blog set-up doesn't show me your e-mail address, so I'm replying this way. (There is a crumbs e-mail address on the contact page, if you'd like to interact privately as I'm able.)

We have friends in Austin and family in New Braunfels, so I have a bit of familiarity with your hometown.

God bless you! Thanks for letting me know you a bit and especially for your prayers.tinuvielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06462001159262770932noreply@blogger.com
